After doing our audio track research and deciding to procced with the song and gaining the permission to use the track we decided to do some background research into the band to learn a little bit about them and their history. Seafret is a small British music duo consisting of singer Jack Sedman and guitarist Harry Draper from Bridlington. The duo has produce one album called tell me it’s real which peaked No.59 in the charts which was very impressive for the small duo, the album was released on the 26th January 2016. The album contains there song seafret which is what we have used in our music video. Even though this duo is very small they are currently on tour with some of these concerts being sold out. This type of band configuration is common for band that produce indie music as it is simple and minimalistic. Overall the band have manged to gain large amount of audience with 211 thousand follows on their youtube channel and having their music streamed on sites like spottily. This is all been achievable through their record label having large amount of money and therefore power in the music industry, the record label they are with is Columbia records who is a parent company of sony music therefore they have potential to reach audience in the Uk and USA.
